Console editions of System Shock will release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X in due course more details will be shared in the future. The PC edition of System Shock is available to pre-order via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store and includes a free copy of the upcoming System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition for all early buyers.
Nightdive Studios worked closely with many of the members of the original System Shock team, including the voice of SHODAN, Terri Brosius. When the System Shock remake arrives, players’ puzzle-solving and survival skills will be put to the test. A combination of stealth, cunning, and futuristic weaponry will be required to survive. Players will also encounter traps, puzzles and secrets in their pursuit of (hopefully) defeating SHODAN once and for all. The System Shock remake combines the cult gameplay of the iconic original game with all-new HD visuals, updated controls, an overhauled interface, and all-new sounds and music. D eveloper Nightdive Studio’s faithful recreation of the classic shooter/immersive sim will launch digitally for PC on Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store on, at 11pm GMT+8. Prime Matter and Nightdive Studios have announced that the full-fledged remake of the original System Shock from 1994 has ‘gone gold’.
